Crystal Joseph is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor that specializes in mental health in our communities.

We will be celebrating mental health month by discussing what it has been like living through COVID-19 and how we begin to move forward now that we as a country are starting to reopen; and how reopening will affect our communities. This discussion will be a Live zoom event with Q&A at the end so grab a glass of wine, relax with us, and be ready to ask some questions!

A little more about Crystal:
Crystal Joseph is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (Maryland), Approved Clinical Supervisor, Licensed Professional Counselor (Virginia), and author of Conversation with a Clinician of Color: Likeness, Lucy & Lemonade a first-person research commentary, and PoundCake & Private Practice: 5 Things I Learned During My First Year, a colorful, unadulterated book which delves into building a private practice from scratch.

Crystal received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Black Studies from the College of William & Mary and a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology from the Chicago School of Professional Psychology, Washington, DC campus.

She owns PsycYourMind®, a thriving private practice in the DC Metropolitan area, where she holds space with persons affected by mental health challenges, on the oncology continuum, and have had culturally traumatic experiences. PsycYourMind is in its third year of training up-and-coming therapists through its robust internship and residency program.

When not in session, you can find Crystal cooking with cast iron or curating her shoe collection. She resides in the D.C. Metropolitan area with her supportive husband.
