FRESH ALERT: Ruby Aujol

Ruby Aujol is a jewelry line that was just launched by one of my favorite bloggers, Kiffe Coco, and her sister. Recently, she briefly discussed the concept behind the jewelry line, which includes a little background information about her history. Let’s hear a little more about their creation:

The idea behind the line stems from who we are now, who our family is, and the different fashion influences we’ve seen growing up. We are influenced by the bold elegant style of our mother’s African-American culture and the delicate, refined style of our father’s Parisian roots. We named the line Ruby Aujol after each of our grandmothers, representing both of our sides, both of our heritages. Raised between France and New York, we want to take all these different looks we are influenced by and blend them with a nouveau twist. We seek to unify the bold and the delicate using high quality materials and thoughtful, unique design. We really want whoever wears our jewelry to feel glamorous and unique, evoking the timeless beauty of Paris with a dash of ”je ne sais quoi” sass. We have a couple of beautiful pieces out now that we’re really excited about, and we hope to expand to include necklaces, bracelets and rings.
